Previous research

Kazuya Masuda is a development economist with interests in the area of child health, and education. He has worked on the issue related to the access and the quality of basic education, teenage fertility, and child malnutrition in Africa.

Current research projects

The focus of Kazuya’s current research is on understanding how developing public-private partnership changes the education market and child learning outcomes in developing countries. It also covers how nutrition program using Spirulina platensis improve the infant linear growth and morbidity infection.
